Detailed world research showed that individuals with normal blood pressure levels that are elevated are still at risk of getting a stroke.

According to the American Heart Association, a normal reading should be 120 over 80. What would be considered high blood pressure would be a reading that is 140 over 90 or above.

Any reading between the normal and high reading on the upper end would be more at risk. These readings in individuals are what doctors considered to be prehypertension. This study is being further evaluated and continues to be a debate among other doctors and researchers in general.

While there are many conventional methods involving medication that will help to lower blood pressure, there are more natural solutions to prevent prehypertension.
